I guess I just suck at blogging

OK, so I'm so sorry things haven't been updated for a while, I don't have some crazy I was attacked by ninjas excuse *but* that's ok because I am here now. I haven't been doing very well the past few days, I've probably been about 200 calories over my limit the past two days but I'm thinking I will probably go for a 4 mile walk today, that's my goal for the next few days do 4 miles every day so that when I go home the 4 mile block won't be a big deal for me.

Alright, today is going to be tough for me. Thanksgiving lunch is today therefore, I will probably eat way too freaking much...boo. I ate a smaller lunch so I can have a bit more at lunch, but I have a feeling that I will eat way less than normal because I feel like my stomach has shrunk a lot. Also, I've been feeling a little sick as of late so I probably won't eat too much because of that. I just hope they have squash, I LOVE Squash like, seriously. I told my mom that I would eat squash for my thanksgiving dinner, that's it haha.

Anyway, I'm gonna cut this short and I promise to remember to update you about how the lunch went <3

Baby Steps

Alright, today was a pretty good day. I woke up at 6:30 and went to my 7 a.m. class w00t. For breakfast I had oatmeal, a banana, a baby smoothie and coffeeeee. So I love coffee but my cafeterias coffee legitimately tastes like shit. But anyway...  I went for a very brisk 30 minute walk, 1.5 miles =] A few hours later I had a snack of blueberry yogurt and half a banana. Then Lunch I had a bit of salad, an egg white, an apple and some peas, is that it? hmmm snack was vanilla and chocolate pudding mixed. Dinner was peas and chicken fried steak (yeah...that was bad of me :[ ) and then  evening snack I went a bit over board, wheat toast with peanut butter and honey and then some pretzels with nutella, which is the love of my life FYI. So my total intake was about 1700 today, more than I would like, but as the title says...baby steps.

Tomorrows plan is to make my evening snack smaller! a lot smaller actually because I"m really bad at night time eating. I need to get more tea in, I get one cup of coffee in the morning but I need to drink tea through out the day because it's healthy, delicious and I need it to help my digestion. Also tomorrow is going to be an intense work out. I'm going to do arm exercises and cardio. I got this :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

New Beginnings

Hello Hello, I have tried and tried again to lose weight but this time I whole heartedly believe that I am going to do it. I have been updating vlogs on youtube and I've been tracking everything I eat on my i-pod. What I plan on doing is eating 5-6 small meals a day spaced 2-4 hours apart depending on my schedule. My two largest meals are going to be my first and 3rd meal at about 7 and 12. Other than that I will be eating small meals of fruits and vegetables. The two large meals will consist of proteins, carbs and healthy fats (as well as fruits and veggies of course) I plan to drink nothing but water and lots of tea, and one cup of coffee per day (with my first meal)

Weekends are going to be tricky considering the cafeteria is open only 4 random times during the day so I will hopefully be getting snacks from the cafeteria to my room that I can munch on between meals. I plan on exercising at least once a day, some days I will be going twice a day as my schedule will permit it. For about 30-45 minutes. I also want to add in some weight training 3 days a week focusing on arms, legs and core. Eventually as time goes on I would like to work my weight training in 6 days a week.

Alright so my first day went a little like this: I woke up at about 9:50 and got ready for the day. I did 15 minutes of yoga. I didn't get much exercise int today but that's ok, tomorrow will be one of my going twice days. For food at "brunch" I had peas and carrots, a honey and scrambled eggs sandwich on wheat toast, some yogurt and grapes. I munched on animal crackers covered in fudge pretty much all day (horrible I know... they are gone now, I gave them to somebody to keep away from me) and then for dinner I had a few mini corn dogs, a couple potato wedges some corn and a banana. This brings my total calories for the day to about 1,400.

This is a bit more than I would like to have every day however, being my first day I think I did great. One thing I think will be tough for me is trying to get enough calories a day, as odd as that sounds. It's something I've always struggled with I always way underestimate my intake. I suppose as time goes on I will get used to.
